Obituary For Christine Carvalho

Bristol - Christine (Votaw) Carvalho, 58, of Bristol died Sunday May 21, 2017 at Silver Creek Manor in Bristol.

She was the wife of Bruce Carvalho.

Christine was born in Fall River, a daughter of Angelina( Moreira) Votaw of Bristol and the late Harrod Votaw.

She was Certified Nurses Assistant, and Certified Med Tech for the Silver Creek Manor for over 30 years. She was a Bristol resident for over 15 years, coming from Warren.

She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Bay Church.

Besides her husband and mother Christine is survived by her sister Dora Lee Owen of North Carolina. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Christine was the mother of the late Jeffrey F. Carvalho , and the sister of the late Susan Tommela.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road , Warren, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren, burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence, RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday from 4 -8pm.
