Obituary For Clelia Petruccelli Fiordelisi

Clelia P. (Petruccelli) Fiordelisi, 61 of Warren, died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at home. She was the wife of Kenneth Fiordelisi.

She was born in Bridgeport Ct., a daughter of Mario Petruccelli of Stratford Ct., and the late Loretta (Visconti) Petruccelli.

Clelia was the Chief Financial Officer for Banneker Industries, Incorporated, since 2013.

She was a graduate of Fairfield University in Ct., with a Masters Degree in Finance.

Mrs. Fiordelisi has lived in Warren since April of 2016, coming from Bristol where she had lived for 7 years.

Besides her husband, and father she is survived by her son Kenneth Rocco Fiordelisi of Warren, her daughter April Marie Fiordelisi of Warren.

Clelia was the sister of Claude Petruccelli and his wife Sue of Greenville Tennessee, Chris Petruccelli of Stratford Ct., Craig Petruccelli and his wife Juliann of Milford Ct., and also Carrie Levitt and her husband Gary Guiser of Norwalk Ct.

Mrs. Fiordelisi is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 8:30 am from the Smith Funeral, Memorial and Cremation Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, RI, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Marys Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol, RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours Wednesday morning from 8:30 9:30am.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory can be sent to the A.L.S. Association, R.I. Chapter, 2374 Post Road,# 103, Warwick, RI, 02886, Attn: Lynn.

    Ken, April and Rocky, Words cannot express how deeply sorry we are to hear about Lia. She was an amazing person. We loved her laugh and great sense of humor. I hope you are comforted knowing that she isn't suffering anymore. You are all in our prayers.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Although Lia has departed from this earth she will never truly leave, for she is still alive in our hearts and minds and because of this she will live on. It was a pleasure working with Lia at Banneker and with the Volunteer events we worked together on. Please accept my family condolences. Lia will not be forgotten. God Bless. With each encounter I had with Lia, she was always smiling and very upbeat, but most of all she had a great sense of humor.
