Constance (Mayhew) DeRocha, 85, of North Lane, died Wednesday March 10, 2004 at St. Anne's Hospital, Fall River.

She was the wife of the late James DeRocha. Born in Barrington, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Corrine (Bissonnette) Mayhew.

Mrs. DeRocha was an honors graduate of Barrington High School, and had been a Girl Scout leader.

A gardening enthusiast, she had been a member of the Warren and Bristol Garden Clubs.

She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, sewing, and embroidery.

She leaves two daughters, Roma O. Anastasi of Centerville, Va., and Marie-Ellaine Hering of North Palm Beach, Fla.; a son, Michael J. DeRocha of Bristol; a sister, Roma Kurowski of Barrington; and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Warren.
