Where to begin...it's been a year which sounds ridiculous because for me it was just yesterday. I am no worse, I am no better, I have only learned in all these days how to walk along without you. It is not easy and some days I fall...a lot, but I get back up again and keep trying. You were a force in our world and not having you here has left a HUGE void. The house is empty, the kids have their own lives so I have far too much time to think of you and when I do I am able to laugh and smile through the tears. I told you all the time I was so lucky you found me and I look forward to the day that you find me again. I love you my David, I always have and I always will. -your girl

Dear family of David, My condolences on your loss of David. At very sad times like this, grieving ones need comfort and the Bible is the best place to find it. Romans 15:4 says the " through our comfort from the scriptures, we might have hope" The true God, Jehovah, shows us in the Bible, that soon his son, Jesus, will perform the greatest miracle, that of the resurrection of the dead. John 5:28,29. Wonderful is the hope that soon, on the paradise earth, there will be no more death, as you can read at Revelation 21:3,4 There is much more Bible-based comfort to be found on the website www.jw.org sincerely dianne mullins

To Kristen and the Machado family: I do not know where to begin? Dave was a friend of mine when we worked together and he will be sadly missed. He used to make me laugh and awful lot! All he used to talk about was you, and how he really loved you! I can't imagine what you are going through. To put into words is hard for me ,because he was that special person,we got along very well together. To you and the entire family my thoughts and prayers go out to you.God bless all of you and if you need anything contact me.Sincerely Warren

My deepest condolences to Josh and Nate, and sincere sympathy to all of Dave's family and wife Kristen. I have a lot to be grateful to Dave for... We had a rocky start to our friendship, but he was always kind, respectful, and fun to be around. We met online and became friends several years ago and in the best of serendipitous events he happily introduced me to all of his highschool friends too. Although it has been a couple of years since we've interacted, I can honestly say that the years we all hung out together were among the best of my life and allowed me to get to know what a big-hearted, caring, and fun-loving guy Dave truly was. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Dave was my best friend in my childhood and early teen years. I spent more time with him than anyone else in my life at the time. I was his skateboarding co-pilot, biking buddy, frisbee friend and music man. Reconnecting with him over the past five or six years has been awesome and I am glad I had this privilege and honor. I will miss him. While I sat on the fringes with him over the past few years, my prayers go out to those who interacted with him daily. To Kristen, Chrissy, Tracy and Ellen (who I called "ma" while growing up) and the boys, my prayers go out to you.
