My deepest condolences to Barbara and family. He was a very special man. The greatest memory I have is picking strawberries in the fields at 6:00 and he would always start the strawberry fights. Throwing the softest strawberries he could find. He had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed.

Rest Easy Sir . Your dignity in adversity is one of the many things I will take forward from you . You soft spoken response while talking about something that would have destroyed the average person . I will miss looking for you and shaking your hand at the farm. You were not old enough to be my Dad but you were a fatherly influence in many lives . When I get there I hope you are there to great me

A wonderful intelligent creative man to all, that has made a mark of community history to families and children; creating fun childhood memories for many children. A true blessing in this world. May the Lord be with his wife Barbara and family to provide comfort and peace. I am a forty year customer of gardening plants and flowers. May David rest in peace for eternity. AnnMarie LaPorte

One heck of a guy! Heaven has a new farmer to take the reins. Hope he will take some time in the shade before he begins the next garden. And Dave, put on a hat! Wish I had more time to have talked with hime to learn the history of the family. A wealth of knowledge in all topics. Rest in peace Dave. Condolences to Barbara & thefamily that loved him.
