Obituary For David Soares
David Soares, 61 of Westport died Sunday Nov. 30, 2014 at home.
He was the husband of Jane I. (Kuros) Soares.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late Frank and Evelyn ( Zompa) Soares.
David was a self- employed carpenter, for over 30 years. a resident of Westport since 1982 coming from Warren.
David was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son David J. Soares of Westport, his daughters Aime Tavares of Dighton, Leah Thibault of Swansea, Jillian Costa of New Bedford, Meagan Soares of Westport.
He was he brother of Paul Soares of North Smithfield, and John Soares of Swansea.
Mr. Soares was the grandfather of Clohie and Jacob. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
David was the brother of the late Frank Soares, and the late James Soares.
His funeral service will be held Thursday at 7:00pm in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4:00- 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers gifts in his memory may be sent to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105, for cancer research. www.stjude.org
