Words cannot express the sadness that I and my family feel upon the loss of our dear friend Donald, or as my children and grandchildren called him "Uncle Donald". I met Donald 44 years ago when I met my husband Lester. Lester and Donald were ALWAYS "Best Friends" more like brothers. Donald had a heart of gold and would ALWAYS help any Teamster who needed it. Donald and his wife Bev would ALWAYS welcome us into their home and made you feel like family! He and my husband Lester will finally be together once again in Heaven and no doubt, Heaven will never be the same. Our Deepest Sympathy to Beverly and the Entire Munroe Family~ Sincerely, Arlene Andrews and Family

Like Don Corleone, Don Munroe gave off an aura of a great protector, the "Don" of our block on Lillis Avenue. I even heard that he lived in our house at one time down the street from him. His deep, sonorous voice and raucous laughter when relating an anecdote distinguished him as special human being, whose stature was as big as his heart. Love, The O'Neill family

Munroe Family, I am so sad to hear of Uncle Donald's passing. He was a wonderful man. I always felt special when I got to see at Denise and Donald's and he'd say "how ya doing muskrat". I hope you happy memories of him help you through this difficult time. Cindy (Longo) Prete
