Donald J. Rego, 71 of Warren, died Tuesday, February 28th at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Fall River a son of the late Joseph and Sally Rego, he was a Mechanic for the Town of Warren before retiring in 1989. Married for 48 years to Judith (Koger) Rego. He was a member of the Kickemuit Tenants Association. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and hanging out at Dunkin Donuts. Besides his wife he leaves his children, Donald J. Rego, Jr. of West Warwick, Diane DeCrescenzo and her husband Vincent Arrenegado of Warren and Daniel DeCrescenzo III of East Providence.; a sister Dorothy Brown of Swansea MA his grandchildren, Jessica DeAngelis, Jennifer Chismond, Daniel DeCrescenzo IV, and Vinnie and Allison Arrenegado. He also leaves three great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Judith Rochon. Visitation will be held March 11th from 3-6pm at Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren.
