Donna C. (Lindberg) Strickland, 66, of Warren died Friday Dec. 30, 2016 at the Hope Hospice.

She was the wife of Robert M. Strickland , they were married for over 44 years.

She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Raymond and Rita (Champagne) Lindberg.

Donna was a self -employed child care worker.

She has lived in Warren for over 44 years, coming from Scituate.

Donna, was a member of the Monday Night Womens League at Dudek Lanes.

She was also a coach and volunteer for the Bristol Baysiders, Special Olympics Team.

She was also a member of the Thursday Night Couples League at the Swansea Country Club.

She enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family.

Beside her husband she is survived by her sons Peter Strickland of Wyoming RI, and Robert G. Strickland of Warren. Also survived by her brothers William Champagne of Warwick, and Wayne Champagne of West Warwick , and Nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday January 4, 2017 at 10:00am in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI. Burial will follow in South Burial Ground, Sowamsett Avenue, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours are Tuesday from 4 7pm.
