Doria C. (Ledoux) Proulx, 86, of Bristol, RI, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 after a brief illness. A daughter of the late Georges and Dorila (Viau) Ledoux and the beloved wife of the late Marcel Proulx, Doria grew up in Central Falls before marrying her high school sweetheart, Marcel, and moving with him during his military career to Virginia and Illinois before finally settling in Bristol sometime in the 1970’s to raise her family.

Doria loved to go camping and take cruises with her late husband. They were seasoned cruisers, and went on about fifty cruises together. She was a little bit of gambler and loved to play bingo and make regular trips to Foxwoods when she could. She and Marcel would frequent some of the nearby restaurants, as well. Most of all, Doria loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Doria is survived by her sons, Wayne Proulx and his wife Susan of Swansea, MA, Keith Proulx and his wife Rose of Warren, RI and Randy Proulx and his wife Christine of Riverside, RI; her brother, George Ledoux and his wife Donna of Millville, MA; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Theodore, Daniel, Joanna and Alexander; and her great granddaughter, Emmalyn.
