Doris E. Waites

91 passed away Saturday Nov. 1, 2014 at the Warren Skilled Nursing,& Rehabilitation. She was the wife of the late James Waites.

Born in Warren the daughter of the late Louis and Laura (Trombley) Proulx.

She worked as a jewelry inspector at RJ mfg.for many years. Doris served in the Women"s Army Corp.during WWII attaining the rank of Sargeant.

She loved playing her piano and spending many hours entertaining family and friends.

Doris also enjoyed playing solitaire and doing puzzles. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Bay Church. She is survived by her daughter Janet Waites of Warren.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday November 5, 2014 at 9am from Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Jean Baptiste Church, Main St. Warren. Burial with Military Honors in St. Jean Cemetery, Visitation Tuesday November 4, 2014 from 5-7pm.www.wjsmithfh.com.
