Carol & Gary, Gary, who would have thought after so many years, we would have been reunited through your mom's stay at GB. We were blessed to have our path's cross again and even more, to have your mom as my mother's roommate. Carol, you dedicated your life to assure she was taken care of in every way... always being there for her even through the most difficult times. Doris was beyond blessed to have two wonderful children as yourselves. She especially loved the highlight of her meals, the specially made sandwiches, cookies and chocolates you provided. My little friend, played such an intricate part in my/our lives. I will always cherish her interactions, responses, and laughter we all created. She will be sorely missed but I know it was her time to rest. When I do yoga, the visual of her hands together, rising in the air, and voice saying 'Ommmm' will always resonate within me. When Christmas comes around, reflect on the video of her controlling the reins. These are the moments you need to remember during the tough days ahead. She might be in the heavens above, but will always be with you. My thoughts and friendship will always be with you, and her.
