Douglas V. Brown, 87, of School St. Waltham, MA., died Monday, June 22, 2015 at home.

He was born in Providence, RI, a son of the late Walter E. and Sarah Ann (Taylor) Bown.

Douglas was a self- employed with the United Communications Service for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the 45th Infantry Signal Division.

He was the uncle of Greg Brown of Santa Cruz California. Mr. Brown was the brother of the late Walter Brown, and the late Audrey Estelle Pinos.

Arrangements were with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI.

He was buried in South Burial Ground, Warren, RI. www.wjsmithfh.com
