Edward A. Olson , 79, of Swansea, died Thursday Oct. 25, 2018 at St. Anne's Hospital.

He was the husband of Francy (Dias) Olson, they were married for over 50 years.

Born in Providence a son of the late Wallace and Mildred ( Coleman) Olson. A Truck Driver for the Anchor Motor Freight in Framingham, retiring in 1999.

He has lived in Swansea since 1970, coming from Rumford and Riverside.

Mr. Olson was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church Swansea,and he enjoyed camping.

Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter and Son In Law Susan and Brian McLintock and their son Jared of Swansea. He was the brother of Wallace Olson of Seekonk, Shirley O'Mara of Rumford, Judith L'Heureux of Seekonk. Also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Monday October 29, 2018 at 9:30 am from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Dominic Church, 1277 G.A.R HIGHWAY, Route 6 , Swansea, burial in Vinnicum Woods Cemetery, Vinnicum Road, Swansea.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Monday from 9:30-10:30am.
