Quite some time ago, as a young girl, Judy and Jane had invited me over for dinner. That particular evening, Mr. Almeida was making steak sandwiches. I can remember him standing at the stove on Kickemuit Rd. with a big smile on his face while he prepared that meal. I know we had great conversations, however I just can't remember the subject. The smell of the steak was amazing. The Almeida family has played such a big part of my life and I am always and forever grateful to them all. I will miss Mr. Almeida's smile. It was always there. Bless you all. RIP Mr. Almeida.

As a friend of the family, I have to say, he touched me with kindness. It was a joy to be with him on those special occasions and talk to him. I will surely miss his smile when he would see me and always remember my name. Truly a real gentleman.
