Obituary For Edward Joseph Goulart

Edward J. Goulart Jr. died on September 6, 2015 at the age of 48.

Ed was the son of Edward Goulart and the late Sandra Mercurio Travers and brother of Sheri Stuart. He grew up in Bristol and later moved to North Providence. He graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in Graphic Design. After a career in retail sales management, Ed brought his talents to Jimmy Stuart's.

Anyone who met Ed loved Ed. He was the kindest, most generous person who had a special way of making people laugh and feel good about themselves.

A memorial is scheduled for 11:00 Saturday, September 12, 2015 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bristol. All are welcome to attend and are encouraged to speak about Ed. The family will hold a reception to follow to celebrate Ed's life at 6 Jacobs Point in Warren. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ASPCA.

    Dear Sherri,Jimmy,Ed and family-I am so saddened to hear about Ed's passing. So many of my favorite High School memories centered around times with Ed. I remember how much he loved his friends and family and he was loyal to the core. Please accept my condolences and I will hold you all in prayer for comfort and peace.

    I was shocked and saddened to learn of Ed's passing. Although I haven't seen him in over 20 years, I can still remember his vibrant smile and gentle nature.     Ed will be sorely missed. He brought such fun and laughs everywhere he went. He was truly a kind and pure person. The world is a sadder place with out him. My thoughts go out to his family. I'm so sorry for your loss.
