Eleanor Burke, 92 formerly of Church Street, Warren DIED Sunday September 12, 2004 at Grace Barker Barker Nursing Center, Warren.

Born in Warren, daughter to the late James W. and Margaret (Byrne) Burke. She was a lifelong resident of Warren.

Before her retirement, she had been a Schoolteacher in both the Warren and Bristol School Systems, and also worked for the Federal government in the Office of Housing.

She was a communicant of St Mary of the Bay Church. She was a 1936 graduate of the University of Rhode Island, and a member of the Massasoit Historical Society.

She leaves several cousins.

Burial will be in St Marys Cemetery, Bristol
