Elizabeth A. “BettyAnn” (Marcil) Sadlier, 85 of Riverside, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Elizabeth (Leonard) Marcil.

She was the heart of her family and a woman who dedicated her life to taking care of the people around her. She loved watching The Golden Girls, M*A*S*H, Days of Our Lives, and Law & Order. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her dog Chance. She enjoyed reading the morning paper, completing her crossword puzzles & playing Yahtzee. She was also an avid card player. She loved being apart of High Low Jack leagues and enjoyed playing Rummy with her friends and family.

For her grandchildren, she was more than a grandmother. She was part of the fabric of their childhood. She provided comfort, laughter, traditions, and a place to come home to. She had her own way of showing love, and those memories will remain with her family for generations.

She will be remembered for her heart, humor, old fashioned ways and all the love she brought down to her family.

She leaves behind her children: Ronald J. Sadlier, Jr (Kimberly), Debra Gilbert, Michael J. Sadlier (Jennifer Sullivan), and Patricia Sadlier. She was the loving Grandmother to Jordan Ross, Nicholas Ross, April Allbritton (Ben), Amanda Ricci, Jennifer Gilbert, Kaitlin Gilbert, David Bailey, Kiersten Sadlier-Long (Christopher), Emily Sadlier, Christopher Sadlier and Samantha Sadlier. She was the Great Grandmother of Liam, Nadia, Tye, Celia, Calvin, Adrianna, Mya, Gianna, and Iker.

BettyAnn was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles Marcil (Maureen) and her grandson Ronald J. Sadlier, III.
