It's true! Elizabeth was so thoughtful about remembering all our Birthdays! Being 9 years older she was often like a 2nd mother to me, helping our parents who had 4 children. Her photography was amazing, even pre digital! She will be missed! I can't wait to see everyone at her future memorial this Fall.

Elizabeth was my friend for many, many years - since 1978 in Marblehead when I first moved there. We had many adventures together, both around Marblehead and down Maine. She was with me through happy and sad times and was always a great support when I needed it, for which I will always be grateful. When I married my husband Jim she hosted a special little reception for us with, of course, champagne, and she never forgot dark chocolate cake with raspberry filling for my birthday for as long as we lived near each other. When we had our children, Matthew and Amanda, she was always there for us whenever we needed her, becoming an integral and well-loved part of their childhoods. Dear Elizabeth, I will miss your friendship, your smile and laugh, your handmade cards with their smiley faces, our casino trips, all the things that made you who you were... a wonderful, special, loving person.

My greatest memories of Liz, are her warm and cheerful welcomes, including big hugs, and smiles and sincere interest in listening to others stories duriing conversations. I was a confused teenager many years ago when I was closest to her, and depended on her guidance and wisdom to help me along a purposeful path. Although our paths took us in different directions so we rarely communicated, these and other fond memories will remain throughout my life. Sue Haley
