Obituary For Elvira L. Santos
Elvira L. (Ferreira) Santos, 89, of Rehoboth Ma., died peacefully Thursday Nov. 24,2016 at the Grace Barker Nursing Home in Warren RI.
Elvira was born in Bristol a daughter of the late Manuel and Elvira (Sousa) Ferreira.
She married in 1950 and moved to Rehoboth, Ma. where she raised her family.
Mrs. Santos enjoyed decorating her home and gardening. She was a faithful parishioner at St. Dominics Church in Swansea, Ma.
Mrs. Santos is survived by her sons Anthony Tony Santos of Swansea MA, John J. Santos of Rehoboth Ma. her brothers, Manuel Red Ferreira, John Ferreira, and her sister Mary Goulart all of Bristol RI.
She was the sister of the late Ferdinand Ferreira, and the late Julia Ferreira.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday Nov. 29, 2016 at 10:00am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Dominic Church, 1277 G.A.R. Highway, Route 6 , Swansea MA.
Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Bristol RI.
Calling hours are Monday, November 28th from 4-8pm.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
