Obituary For Ethan M. Procaccini

Ethan Matthew Procaccini, 22, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He was the beloved son of David and Denise (Mark) Procaccini and the loving brother of Daniel Procaccini of Bristol, RI.

Ethan was a joyous soul with a kind and pure spirit; all who knew him instantly fell in love with him. He embraced life to the fullest, finding joy in a wide range of activities. He played baseball in the Challenger League in Swansea, MA, and loved attending Providence Bruins hockey games, swimming, and horseback riding. He was a fan of monster trucks and any performance at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), but his absolute favorite was karaoke Fridays. Ethan was also a dedicated student at the Southcoast Educational Collaborative.

Ethan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerard Mark of Jermyn, PA.

In addition to his parents and brother, Ethan leaves behind his grandmother, Diane Rotel Mark of Jermyn, PA; his grandfather, Nicholas Procaccini of Hilton Head, SC; and his grandmother, Gail Goldschlager of Boca Raton, FL. He was the great-grandson of Frances Goldschlager of Boca Raton, FL. He is also survived by his uncle John Mark; aunt Lisa (Mark) and uncle Roger Kwolek; and cousin James Kwolek, all of Jermyn, PA; as well as uncle Adam and aunt Diana Procaccini, and cousins Aiden and Gianna Procaccini of Garner, NC. He will be deeply missed by many dear great-uncles, great-aunts, and cousins, as well as his beloved CNA of many years, Vilma Cartagena.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, child life specialists, and staff at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, the Hope Hospice team, and Bayada Home Health Care for the exceptional care and support provided to Ethan and his family over the years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Give Kids The World Village (www.gktw.org) in Kissimmee, FL, a place that provided Ethan and his family with wonderful memories during their trip to Orlando.

A private ceremony will be held, with a public celebration of life to be announced at a later date.

Dave,Denice and Daniel , so sorry for your loss. Ethan was such an inspiration to us personally as he always had a smile on his face at baseball and he always wanted his chicken nuggets at the end of the game.🥰 Mike and Brenda Hyland
