Eugene Whitmore, 77, died Friday Dec. 18, 2015, at the Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island. He was the husband of Janice (Caton) Whitmore.

Mr. Whitmore, was born in Binghamton, New York a son of the late Frank and Virginia (Zello) Whitmore Eugene , was a carpenter and also a school bus driver for the First Student Bus Service for many years.

Mr. Whitmore was a veteran of the US Airforce serving as an Airman Second Class.

A Warren resident all of his life he was a member of St. Matthews Church in Barrington. Mr. Whitmore enjoyed bowling at Dudek Lanes in Warren.

Besides his wife he is survived by his brothers Donald Belair of California, Ronald Belair of Vermont, and his sister Rosemarie sis Andreozzi of Union City Tennessee.

Eugene was the uncle of David Wharton of Union City Tennessee, Robert Eugene Wharton of New Bern Tennessee, and Henry Mark Wharton of Warwick.

He was the brother of the late Edward Whitmore.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren ,RI, burial with Military Honors will follow in South Burial Ground, Warren.
