Swansea - Florence Marie (Jovin) Travis, 87, of Swansea, died Monday , March 26 2018 at home. She was the wife of the late Anthony Travis. Florence was born in Warren a daughter of the late Charles and Marion ( Lemieux) Jovin. She was an Administrative Assistant for a construction company for many years. Mrs. Travis was a Swansea resident for over 60 years coming from Warren, RI, she was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church. Florence and her late husband owned and operated an antique business for many years. Mrs. Travis is survived by her sons David Travis and his wife Carol of Swansea, and Christopher Travis of Swansea. She was the sister of Charlotte Pacheco of Warren. Florence was the grandmother of Shaun Travis and Corinne Nine, and also the great grandmother of Jack nine. She was the sister of the late Bob, Raymond, Lucien, Marcel, Barney Jovin, Irma Errol and Dora Francis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00am in St. Dominic Church 1277 G.A.R. Highway, Swansea MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
