FRANCES PETERS, 78, of Silver Creek Manor, Bristol and formerly of East Providence, a retired jewelry worker, died Saturday February 16, 2003 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence.

Born in Warren, a daughter of the late Francisco and Rose (Cambria) Peters, she had lived in East Providence for 30 years, and in Warren for many years.

Miss Peters had been a jewelry worker at Tanya Creations, in East Providence, for many years before retiring last year.

She leaves a brother, Samuel Peters of Milford, Mass.; two sisters, Nancy Capizano of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Lena Rogers of Clearwater, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a sister of the late Pasquale, Louis, Joseph, Antonio, Concetta and Mary Peters, Theresa Catalumo, Antonetta Mello and Sally Burkhardt.

The funeral will be private.
