Obituary For Frank John Balzano

Frank J. Balzano, 90, of Bristol, RI, passed away, Monday, September 19, 2022, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA.

He was the husband of Ruth Barbara (Chase) Balzano.

Born in Bristol, RI, he was the son on the late Thomas and Jennie (Malafronte) Balzano.

Mr. Balzano had worked as a plumber for Sunshine Oil for many years. He had served with the RI National Guard for 12 years. He was a Communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Mr. Balzano was a member of the Rumford Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed raising German Shepherds. He also enjoyed his bringing his 56 Ford to car shows and had won 76 trophies for his car.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Carole Ritoli and her husband Vincent of Mt. Dora, FL, Lori Ferreira and her husband Richard of Mt. Dora, Fl, and Karen Balzano for Bristol, RI, four grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan, Cheyanne, and Brianna, and three great grandchildren, Liam, Oliver, and Theodore. He was also the brother of the late John Balzano and Carmine Balzano.

Calling hours are omitted.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 10AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol.

Arrangements are by Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren.
