Obituary For George D Amaral

Seekonk George D. Amaral, 78, of Seekonk, Ma. died suddenly, on Saturday January 25, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital.

He was the husband of Elloise (Meyette) Amaral.

George, was born Pawtucket, a son of the late Frank and Ann (Marshall) Amaral.

He was a self employed Scrap Metal Recycler.

Mr. Amaral was a Seekonk resident all of his life. He enjoyed Hot Rods and he raced at Seekonk Speedway. He enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery, and going to the dog track.

He also liked riding motorcycles, especially his Triumph Motorcycle.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Robert Amaral of Seekonk, his daughter Heidi Amaral of East Providence, his sister Dorothy Jackson of Seekonk.

George was the grandfather of Ryan, Matthew and Brad.

He was the brother of the late Henry Moore.

His funeral service will be held FRIDAY January 31, 2020 at 7:00 pm in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm.

    I was sad to open the paper and see about George.I first met him through a car dealer in the early 70,s.We have been friends ever since. It seems like he never changed I will miss him but have many good memories.My prayers to the family. Earl

    I haven't known this man to long but I know what kind of man he was . From what I've seen and heard about George he was a great guy and father. You were loved my many and will be missed by many but our memories will live forever.
