Obituary For Gilda Vincent
Warren -- Gilda (Medeiros) Vincent, 100, of Warren died Sunday September 9, 2018 at the Grace Barker Nursing Home. She was the former wife of the late Roswell Vincent.
She was born in Fall River.
Gilda was a Waitress for the Wharf tavern for over 40 years, before retiring in 1971.
Mrs. Vincent was a Warren resident all of her life, and a member of the former St. Marks Episcopal Church of Warren.
Mrs. Vincent is survived by her children Mark Vincent of Worcester, MA., Robin Jordan of Warren, and Cherie Merlan of Warren.
She was raised by her aunt the late Maria Borges.
Mrs. Vincent was the grandmother of Felicia LaFlamme, Erin Coco, Monique and Morgan Vincent, and also the great grandmother of 6.
She was the grandmother of the late Jason and Sean Foster.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00am in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren , burial will follow in South Burial Ground, Warren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5-8pm.
In lieu of flowers gifts in her memory may be sent to the Warren Animal Shelter, 80 Wood Street, Warren, RI, 02885.
