Hermano DaSilva, 84 of Warren, died Sunday, August 2nd, at Crestwood Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Mateus F. and Francelina (Martins) DaSilva. He was the husband of Aldora (Pereira) DaSilva.
Mr. DaSilva was a custodian for the Bristol Warren Regional School Department. He had served as President, Vice President and Manager of the Portuguese Independent Club of Bristol. He was also a member of The Warren Soccer Club.
Besides his wife, he leaves a sister Dolores Nunes and her husband Mario of Warren; his godsons Paul DaSilva and Steven Nunes and a niece Stacy Bliss. He was also the brother of the late Joao F. DaSilva.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where family will receive friends Monday August 10th 9-10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am in St Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Avenue, Warren. Burial will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. www.wjsmithfh.com
