Obituary For Hilda Ann Santos
Hilda Ann (Correia) Santos, 94, of Bristol, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Edward Santos.
A lifelong resident of Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Placido and Conseica (Oliveira) Correia.
Hilda was a true Bristolian and took pride in the July 4th festivities. Whether she was puttering around, pulling weeds in the yard, or gardening, she would always find something to do.
She loved hosting for all the major holidays and spending time with her family.
She was a meticulous housekeeper for Metacom Manor Health Center prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her five children, Cheryl Santos of Hudson, Florida, Richard Santos of Warren, Elaine Roderick of Bristol, Trisha Santos of Bristol, and Brenda Santos of Bristol; seven grandchildren, Richard Roderick Jr. and his wife Hannah of Seekonk, MA, Kymberly Roderick of Bristol, Tori Mack of Hudson, Florida, Coti Santos of Bristol, Courtney Santos of Rehoboth, MA, Tiffany and her husband Nick Lapola of Warren and Joseph Santos of Warren; twelve Great Grandchildren Alex, Caitlyn, Salem, Amari, Kamryn. Rocco, Gianna, Roman, Gemma, Noel, Emma and Lucy; siblings, Lorraine Capizzano, Linda Marshall and Edward Correia all of Bristol. She was the sister of the late Lerds Vollmer of Plant City, Florida and Irene Bannister of Greenwood, South Carolina.
Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, RI 02885. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10AM in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol, RI 02809.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Hilda’s honor may be made to Home For Our Troops.
