Hubert J. Jeff Geoffrey, 101 , formerly of Warren, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 in the West Shore Health Center Warwick . He was the husband of the late Mary May ( Znoj) Geoffrey.

Jeff was born in Warren, a son of the late Alphonse and Marilda (Granger) Geoffrey. Mr. Geoffrey was a self- employed floor re- finisher, for over 50 years.

He was a US Navy Veteran serving during WWII in the Seabees", as a Carpenters Mate First Class.

He was a lifelong Warren resident.

A parishioner of St. Mary of the Bay Church , and a life member of the Narragansett Fire Company Engine 3 of the Warren Fire Dept. He was the first Eagle Scout of Warren Troop 1 of Boy Scouts of America, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a long- time member of Dudek Bowling League.

He is survived by his sons Russell Geoffrey and his wife June of East Greenwich, and Robert Geoffrey and his wife Sharon of Cranston . Mr. Geoffrey was the grandfather of Owen Geoffrey, Alison Geoffrey, Scott Geoffrey, Katherine Geoffrey, and he was the great grandfather of Caeden and Lydia Geoffrey.

Jeff was the brother of the late Marcel Geoffrey, late Edward Geoffrey, late Reginald Geoffrey, late Jacqueline Sepe, late Jeanette Geoffrey .

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main St. Warren.

Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours Monday from 4-7pm.
