Hurbon R. Sonny Fitta Jr., 76 of Warren died Saturday Feb. 6 ,2016 at R.I. Hospital.

Mr. Fitta, was the companion of Anne Fortin of Warren.

He was born in Fall River a son of the late Hurbon R. and Angelina (Silva) Fitta Sr.

Sonny was a construction worker for the Charles Fisher Construction Company.

He has lived in Warren for over 26 years coming from Fall River.

Besides his companion he is survived by his daughters Cheryl Cote of Fall River MA, Debbie Fortin Miranda, and is sons Albert Fortin, Wayne Fortin, and the late Raymond Fortin, a brother Robert Fitta of Jacksonville North Carolina, a step brother Joseph Binetti of Dartmouth, a step sister Carol Binetti of North Carolina.

He also leaves several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Dorothy DeMello.

A funeral service for Mr. Fitta will be held Saturday Feb. 13, 2016 at 11:00am in the SMITH Funeral, Memorial, and Cremation Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road Warren.
