Bristol - Ilda Vieira, 90, of Bristol, died on Tuesday November 5, 2019 at the Miriam Hospital in Providence.

She was born in St. Miguel , Azores, Portugal, a daughter of the late Joseph Melo and Maria (Vieira) Melo.

Ilda was a factory worker for over 30 years for the former Carol Cable Company in Warren.

She has been a Bristol resident since 1960 coming from the Azores.

Miss Vieira was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church, where she was in he Bible Group at the church, she also enjoyed sewing.

Ilda was the sister of Albertina DaSilva of Bristol, and Maria C. Rodrigues of Bristol.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday November 13, 2019 at 9:30 am from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
