Isabel R. (Teixeira) Tabicas, 79, of Warren died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at RI Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Daniel C. Tabicas.

Isabel was born in Agua Retorta, Sao Miguel, Azores Portugal, a daughter of the late Manuel Raposo Teixeira and the late Maria Pimentel Resendes.

Isabel was a Machine Operator for Aberdeen Manufacturing before she retired.

Mrs. Tabicas was a Warren resident since 1987 coming from Cambridge, MA.

She was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

Mrs. Tabicas is survived by her sons Manuel and his wife Alda Carreiro of North Dartmouth, MA., Daniel Carreiro of Warren, her daughter Ana and her husband Joe Medeiros of Warren. Her brothers Ventura Teixeira of Fall River, and Joao Teixeira of St. Miguel ,Azores. She was the grandmother of Melissa, Karen, and Shela, Christopher, Priscilla, Andrea. Also the great grandmother of Isabella, Myles, and Gabriella.

Mrs. Tabicas was the sister of the late Manuel Pimentel, Maria Pimentel, and Irene Raposo.

Her funeral will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 at 9:00 am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., Warren, burial in South Burial Ground.
