Obituary For Jacqueline Mello

Jacqueline (Hager) Mello, 87, of Bristol, RI, passed away, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Grace Barker Nursing Home, Warren, RI.She was the wife of the late Edward Mello.Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Shaw) Hager.Mrs. Mello had worked for Premier Thread and Carol Cable for over 20 years, retiring in 1985. She was a Communicant of St. Mary's Church in Bristol. She enjoyed walking, gardening and spending time with her friends at her home.She is survived by three daughters, Denise Henne and her husband Paul of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Cynthia Francis and her husband Joseph of Bristol, RI, and Brenda Marshall and her husband Bruce of Bristol, RI, five grandchildren, Bethany, Brooke, Joseph, Adam and Bruce, and two great grandchildren, Caiden and Edward.Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 4-7PM in Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 9AM, from Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood St., Bristol.Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Grace Barker Patient Activities Fund, 1 Barker Ave., Warren, RI, 02885.Information/On-Line condolences please visit- www.wjsmithfh.com
