James Allen Francis, 77, of Warren passed away in East Providence on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Francis.

He was an avid sports fan in particular the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants.

He is survived by his children: Raymond Francis, Amanda Parent, and Timothy Francis (Kaitlyn); his grandchildren: Ethan Pemental, Savannah Francis, Jessica Parent, Georgia Francis, Ellie Francis, Hayley Francis, Mia Francis; his siblings: Charles Francis, Jr. and Judy Cabral; and many extended relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Brown.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at South Burial Ground, Warren.
