Obituary For James E. Dwyer Sr.

James Edward Dwyer, Sr., 55, of Warren, died Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Rhode Island Hospital. Mr. Dwyer was retired from being the head of the maintenance department Kickemuit Village. Born in Westwood, MA, a son of the late William and Ruth (Kaufman) Dwyer.

He was a member of the German Club and Cup Defenders Association. He was a proud member of the Warren Fire Department Rescue Squad.

He is survived by his children, Sherry Absolom of Magnolia, Del. And James E. Dwyer, Jr. of Warwick; a brother, William T. Dwyer of Barrington. Beloved grandfather of Nicholas J. Dwyer. Loving step-grandfather to Micah and Caitlyn Faria, Dante, Shaylyn and Laila Mahoney.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren where family will receive friends Wednesday 4-7pm. A mass of christian burial will be held Thursday 10am in St Jean Baptiste Mission Church, Main Street, Warren. Burial will be private.

    Papa, i miss u so muc , i always look down ur road when i go to grandmas or when im in town . ill never forget the first time i ever saw a rainbow in my life and it was with you , i know at the end of the rainbow you will be there waitin for me to see it again together , you were always y hero helping others when u used to work for the rescue . i remember ur scanner always going off and living with u and you were always in your rocking chair , those were the best days and ill never forget them . i love u so much papa
