Obituary For James Way

James Way, 65, of Bristol, died February 21, 2013 at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of Josepha (Feldman) Way.

Born in East Granby, Connecticut, the son of the late Morris and Constance (Rae) Way, he was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Way was employed as a Marine Technician most of his life. Most recently, he worked for Walmsley Marine in Warren until his retirement in 2010. He was an avid sailor, and volunteered his efforts to the restoration of the US 12 meter ship named Courageous, twice winner of the Americas Cup. He was also a member of the First Spiritualist Church of Brockton in Rehoboth.

Surviving in addition to his wife, two step-daughters; Julie Scofield of Bristol and Beverly Andracchi of Connecticut, 5 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren. Brother of Suzanne Way of Florida. He was pre-deceased by his step-son Justin Rehnback.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd, Warren where family will receive friends Saturday from 4-8pm with a Service of Remembrance beginning at 6pm.     Jim always lived life his 'Way' and this is what I so admired about him. He'll be so missed, but we all know, he's just a thought away, still in all our hearts. He's joined a great group of powerful Spirits. Josie, sincere sympathy to you. He'll live in all our hearts, for years to come. Jim was special and admired by so many of us.
