Obituary For Jason Joseph Poissant
Jason J. Poissant, 47, of Cranston, RI, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. A son of the late Roland Poissant and Linda Hopkins, Jason was a longtime resident of Bristol before moving to Cranston. Jason was known as a man who loved to enjoy life to the fullest. He liked going out with his friends and members of his family often to have a great time. He was one of the few people out there that could say he loved what he did for work. He loved being able to make something with his hands any time he wanted. In his free time, Jason loved to ride his Harley Davidson and listen to his favorite music. But more than that, he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jason is survived by his daughter: Shyan Siakala; two sons: Jason and Dominic Poissant, all of Cranston; three brothers: Robert Poissant and his partner Korran of Bristol, Randy Poissant and his wife Diana of Riverside and Tyler Hopkins of Cranston; three sisters: Debbie Aguire and her husband Keith, Denise Poissant and Donna Perreira and her husband Jimmy, all of FL; five grandchildren; the loving mother of his children, Tina Siakala; and his step parents, Virginia Poissant of Bristol and Don Hopkins of Cranston, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, where the family will receive guests and relatives for a graveside service on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut St. Bristol. Guests are invited to join the family after the service at The Common Pub & Grill, 421 Wood St. Bristol. For directions or tributes, Please visit www.wjsmithfh.com
