Obituary For Jennifer Jean Cabral

Jennifer “Jenn” Jean Cabral, 45, of Warren, passed away unexpectedly at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts, on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the beloved mother of Taylor Rodrigues and Brooke Labreche and the cherished daughter of Lisa and Michael Leveille.

From the very beginning, Jenn was determined to do things her own way. When her mother, Lisa, arrived to the hospital to give birth, Jenn was already making her entrance, her head was crowning. As she grew, Jenn looked up to her older brother, Shawn, and was determined to be just as independent as he was, even though he was older. She was walking early, climbing anything she could find, and determined to do things for herself. She would even rip off her diaper to use the potty, climbing up to it even though it was far too tall for her little legs.

Although Jenn was the middle child among her siblings, she was the strong and tough one. She made sure everyone was okay and carried that protective nature with her throughout her entire life. Even as a child, Jenn had a personality all her own. While her brothers took care of her baby dolls, Jenn preferred to play with G.I. Joe dolls and monster trucks. She was never afraid to be different or to do things her own way, and she was unapologetically Jenn from the very beginning.

Jenn was given the nickname “Mega B,” a name that perfectly captured her thick-headed and strong-willed nature. She could be stubborn, determined, and nearly impossible to convince once she had made up her mind. But anyone who truly knew Jenn knew that beneath that tough exterior was one of the sweetest, most caring, and most sensitive people you could ever meet. She felt deeply, loved deeply, and cared more than she often let on. “Mega B” may have captured her stubborn side, but the people who loved her knew the tender heart behind it.

That same determination stayed with Jenn throughout her life. She faced battle after battle, often keeping her struggles to herself, yet she remained strong for the people around her. Even through her own hardships, she continued to be one of the most kind-hearted, loving, and caring people. She cared deeply for others, even when she did not always show it, and she would go above and beyond for the people she loved.

Jenn was independent, honest, and unapologetically herself. When she had her mind set on something, she stood by it, and if she believed she was right, she would fight for it. She did not take any nonsense from anyone and was never afraid to speak her mind. Jenn was not someone who could be easily pushed around, and she always knew how to stand her ground.

Jenn had a heart that gave people chance after chance, even when they may not have deserved them. She believed in people and cared deeply for those she loved. But she also knew how to say no, and when she finally did, she meant it. She could be endlessly forgiving and deeply loving, while still being strong enough to protect herself and the people she cared about.

Jenn was not close to everyone, and she did not let just anyone into her world. She kept her circle small and was careful about who she trusted. But if you were lucky enough to truly become close to Jenn, you were truly close to her. She loved deeply, stood by the people she cared about, and would always have your back. Once Jenn let you into her heart, she was someone you could count on, no matter what. She would always be the one standing behind you, or the one standing in front of you when you needed someone to protect you.

Jenn was also hilarious. She had a way of saying the most unexpected and completely out-of-pocket things, often when people least expected it. If you spent even five minutes with Jenn, you were almost guaranteed to laugh. Her humor, personality, and ability to make people laugh were unforgettable.

Jenn absolutely hated having her picture taken, despite being a beautiful woman. Most of the pictures her family and friends have of her are not traditional posed smiles, but rather Jenn flipping someone off, making a hilariously angry face, or caught mid-protest as she told everyone, once again, not to take her picture. In true Jenn fashion, even her refusal to be photographed became a source of laughter and some of the most memorable pictures her loved ones will treasure forever.

Above all else, Jenn was a mother. Her daughters, Taylor and Brooke, were her world. She gave them all of her time, her love, her strength, and every part of herself. Jenn devoted her life to caring for her children and being there for them through every stage of their lives. She made sacrifices without hesitation and would do anything to protect, support, and love them. Her daughters were not just a part of her life; they were her life.

Jenn’s love for Taylor and Brooke was unconditional and unwavering. She was their safe place, their protector, and the person they could always count on. She gave them a sense of security and comfort that only a mother can provide. Her daughters will carry her love with them for the rest of their lives, in the memories they shared, the lessons she taught them, and in the countless ways her love shaped who they are.

For Taylor, Jenn was more than a mother. She was her heart, her soul, and her spirit. She made her who she is today and shaped her life in ways that can never be fully put into words. The love between them was deep, powerful, and everlasting. They understood each other with just a glance. Jenn’s presence was a part of her daughter’s very identity, and although she is now gone, everything she taught her, everything she gave her, and all the love she shared will live on forever.

Jenn had a way of making the people around her feel safe and secure. She kept her own battles to herself and remained strong for those she loved, giving everyone around her a sense of comfort and safety. Her sudden absence has left a space that cannot be filled, and those who knew her are now realizing just how much strength and security her presence gave them.

Jenn took great pride in her home. She loved her plants and enjoyed going to Hobby Lobby to find signs and decorations to make her house feel warm, welcoming, and uniquely hers. She took pride in keeping her home clean and making it cute and comfortable. She loved having plants, even though she managed to kill almost every one of them. That never stopped her from wanting another plant, and we were constantly finding new places to put them around the house. She also loved candles and the warm, cozy feeling they brought to her home. Sundays often meant a trip to Hobby Lobby, and more than once, we would make the drive there only to remember, once we arrived, that Hobby Lobby was closed on Sundays. She especially loved decorating with apples, although those who knew her best would probably agree that you would rarely, if ever, see Jenn actually eating one.

From a young age, Jenn had a deep love for animals. She grew up with many cats and cared for them as if they were her own children. To Jenn, her animals were family, and she loved and cared for them as though they were people. That love continued throughout her life. She adored her cat, Bastion, and her 14-year-old dog, Rosie, whom she continued to love and care for unconditionally as she grew older. Jenn also had a special love for wildlife, especially moose, deer, and owls. She loved going to New Hampshire, where she enjoyed the beauty of nature and the wildlife she loved so much, and she had hoped to return soon. Her love for animals was a reflection of the caring heart she carried throughout her life.

Those who truly knew Jenn will also remember her familiar cup of Crystal Light Fruit Punch, which was rarely far from her side. She had countless new refillable cups, many of them purple, her favorite color, including all the latest trendy ones. Yet, for some reason, she always seemed to go back to her daughters’ old childhood cups, usually a Frozen-themed cup with a straw. No matter how many new cups she had, that old cup was often the one she reached for.

Jenn could be found making a pitcher of juice at all hours of the night, ensuring there was always some ready to go. Taylor eventually followed in her footsteps and made sure there was always juice made too. Brooke was always there to refill her cup, day or night, and Taylor’s girlfriend, Kaylee, quickly learned that keeping Jenn’s cup full was part of the job too. Between Taylor, Brooke, and Kaylee, Jenn rarely had to go long without someone making sure her cup was filled. Her Crystal Light Fruit Punch, her favorite cups, and the people who loved her enough to keep them full became just another part of the everyday moments that made Jenn who she was.

Jenn’s strength, kindness, humor, determination, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She fought battles many people never knew about, carried burdens she rarely shared, and still gave the people around her love, comfort, and a sense of safety. She was strong when others needed strength, loving when others needed love, funny when people needed to laugh, and never afraid to be exactly who she was.

Most of all, Jenn was a devoted mother who gave her entire heart to her daughters. She was the kind of mother who gave everything she had, including her time, her energy, her love, and her strength. Though she is no longer here to provide the comfort and security she gave so naturally, the love she gave Taylor and Brooke will remain with them forever.

Jenn was one of a kind. She was strong, stubborn, loving, hilarious, generous, protective, and unapologetically herself. She gave people more chances than they sometimes deserved, loved more deeply than she always showed, and stood her ground when she needed to. Her family and friends will forever miss her voice, her humor, her strength, her love, and the unmistakable presence that made her Jenn.

Her daughters, family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched will carry her memory forward. For Taylor, Jenn will forever be her heart, her soul, and her spirit, the woman who made her who she is, whose love helped shape her, and whose presence will remain with her for the rest of her life.

In addition to her daughters and parents, Jenn is also survived by her brothers, Shawn M. Cabral and Robert M. Cabral; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

So sad to hear this. Jenn and I had a friendship built on the relationship our daughters had since preschool. We would occasionally text back in fourth and meet up at parks to let our daughters play together. The sleepovers and school events our girls shared. One thing for sure I knew from talking to Jenn she loved her girls. May God keep you all wrap in his arms and provide you all with the comfort you need. She will always be your angel watching over you both and protecting you along the way. May Jenn rest in eternal peace. 💜

May she rest in peace. I enjoyed building a friendship with you for our daughters. We shared similar views on "things". Brooke and Taylor may you find strength and peace in this and remember she will forever be your angel.

Jenn was my best friend for over 30 years .. it's kinda hard to think of a memory that she wasn't in.. she was like my sister we could look at each other and know what the other was thinking without saying.a word .. it has been a little bit since we last talked but I always thought we would we see each other again .. my heart is broken and my prays go out for her family .. she was one of the one of the most selfless people I ever knew .. if you were lucky enough to be a part of her life then you would know that there was way more to Jenn then what she showed .. she will be missed terribly by all who knew her 💜🕊️💙
