Obituary For Jerome Almeida
Jerome Almeida 102, of Bristol died Thursday, Feb 12, 2015 at the Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home.
He was the husband of Elizabeth (Cardoza) Almeida.
Jerome was born in Lisbon Portugal a son of the late Joaquim and Isabel ( Godinho) Almeida. He was a US Army veteran . Mr. Almeida had worked in the Resource and development department at Dixon Manufacturing for over 30 years before he retired.
He has lived in Bristol since age 7 coming from Portugal, he was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church. Mr. Almeida enjoyed spending time in Panama City Florida, and loved to garden.
Besides his wife he is survived by his nieces Dorothy Canario of Bristol, Patricia Arel of Riverside, and Robin Vales of Bristol. As well as many other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial mass on Saturday Feb. 21 2015, at 9:00am in St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St. Bristol. Calling hours and flowers are omitted.
Mr. Almeida was buried in St. Marys Cemetery Bristol. Arrangements by the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd Warren www.wjsmithfh.com
