Maria, David, Lori and family? There are no words to lessen your grief, believe me I know, I'm right there with you. I hope you know how much we love you guys & we are here for moral support, whether it be a shoulder to cry on, lending an ear, a hug etc. John did his ultimate selfless deed in donating one of his viable organs that saved someone else's life. Wow, what a legacy to be so proud of! Thanks be to God!! John was a force of nature for sure & he sure proved that until his last breath. We will never forget him, for all that he stood for "the love of family" I still remember my first encounter at a feast in Newbedford, he came up to me & hugged in his boisterous way & said "you're my cousins girlfriend, I want you to come & the meet the family" & that was the beginning of a lifetime of memories. He built our home, that we still own. We could've sold it years ago, but it holds a special place in our heart & now even more so, it will always remind us of John. Thank you John for all the wonderful memories!! We love you always & forever. Until we reunite again! Liz & Nevio Correia

Shortly after Judy and I first moved to Rhode Island to take the CEO job at Blackstone Valley Community Health Centers, John Andrade renovated a building for Blackstone Valley Community Health Centers. It was an unusual joy work with him & his company as a contractor. He worked harder than anyone I've ever seen because he was dedicated to quality & knew how much the clinics helped those who were in need of excellent health care. John with his humor & respect for all he became a friend to almost all of those who worked there. John and Maria reached out to us new Rhode Islanders inviting us to events. Over many years of sharing their family & friends all became new friends to us. They brought us into their family with dinners at their house that John built, with welcoming us to cultural feasts and sports events of David & Lori as well as all of their extended family and we joined in with work projects at their & our houses as well. We will miss John, but the love and kindness that he showed made the community & world better and his legacy of humor, good food , kindness, and pranks will continue to not only be remembered but grow among those that he was in contact with and his huge group of friends continuing to make this a better world And to make us smile each time we remember his big personality. With gratitude to his family for sharing John. With sympathy to his family hoping that it helps your loss a little knowing that we cared, loved & will keep John in our hearts too! Wish we could do more for you in your loss... The Sheas Chris J. Shea Judith McKenna Shea Sean Michael Shea Timothy Patrick Shea Bridget Augusta Shea

My fondest memory of my cousin Joāo Francisco is his coming into my life in the 70's and us going out dancing. Not only a good dancer 🕺🏼 he was a great dresser, cute and so much fun that my friends all wanted introductions. I will always remember him so full of life. I know family was the most important thing to him and may he rest in peace knowing how well he was loved.

Joao and Maria were more than just my landlords; they were truly remarkable people who profoundly impacted my life during the five years I rented from them. Their kindness toward my daughter and me during our times of need is something I will always remember. Joao, in particular, was so proud of his family. I recall how he would excitedly share stories about helping his son with his house construction and how intelligent he thought he was, not to mention the beauty of his daughter. Despite being our landlord, Joao always had a down-to-earth attitude and was willing to lend a hand whenever it was needed. I have never encountered a couple quite like them; their integrity and warmth were truly admirable. After renting from them, I was inspired to buy my own home, realizing that landlords like Joao and Maria are hard to come by. Joao's laughter and jokes brought so much joy into our lives. I pray for his soul and hope that Maria finds the strength and peace she needs during this difficult time. Thank you, Joao and Maria, for everything you have done for my family. Your kindness will always be cherished.
