Obituary For John Byron Raymond
John Byron Raymond, 49, of Barrington, RI, died unexpectedly at home, Thursday, January 21, 2021. He was the spouse of Andrea Miller, and very loving dad of Christine and Kimberly Raymond.
Born in Fort Huachuca, AZ, he was the son of Gordon R. and Catherine (Benoit) Raymond of Hendersonville, NC. Byron graduated from Manchester West High School, Manchester, NH, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. Byron then graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He was also an ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician.
Byron most recently worked as a NAFI Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, and NAFI Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator for SD Lyons Company. Byron earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and always enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors, especially hiking, biking, backpacking and kayaking.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a sister, Janice Tramonte and her husband Chad of Canton, GA; and three nieces, Hannah Bingham, Chloe Breen, and Claire Breen all of Canton, GA.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038, or to a suicide prevention organization of ones choice.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to have met Byron here at SD Lyons and we spent time discussing our families, automobiles, and music. He was intelligent, fun, and great to be around. I know he loved his family. He will be missed.
