Obituary For John Goulart
JOHN G. GOULART, 79, of Cooke Street, Bristol, died Thursday, May 20, 2004 at Crestwood Nursing Home, Warren.
The husband of the late Margaret (Mondina) Goulart. Born in Bristol, a son of the late Antonio and Filomena (Matosa) Goulart, he was a life long resident of Bristol.
He was a foreman for Kiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation of Portsmouth for 40 years before retiring.
John was the owner of Yesterdays Treasures Antiques Shop on Wood Street in Bristol for many years. He was a communicate of St Elizabeths Church in Bristol. A member of the Holy Ghost Committee of the Church and was the Chief Marshall in 1982. He was a Past Vice-President of the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St Elizabeths Church. He loved furniture woodworking. Enjoyed fishing on Narragansett Bay. He enjoyed the 4th of July Parade every year with his family.
Loving father to Nancy Reskusich, John and Jeffrey Goulart all of Bristol. Loving brother to Phoebe Ayres of Bristol. He was a brother to the late Antonio and Joseph Goulart, Mary Silvia, Frances Ferreira, and Clara Mello. He leaves three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Burial will be in Juniper Hill Cemetery, Bristol.
