Obituary For John Hall Peckham

John Hall Peckham died November 28,2020, peacefully at home. Born in Southbridge, Mass. and raised in Woodstock, Conn., he was the son of the late Ernest and Alice Peckham. He was educated at Woodstock Academy and Clark University, and was a life-long participant and instructor of The Theocratic Ministry School. John is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of 55 years, his sister Janet Harrington, her husband Paul, their son Scott, his wife Lynn and daughter Deborah, and several great nephews. He was an elder in the N.Fall River, Mass. congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses, where he conducted his ministry. Over the last 55 years he and his wife engaged in a volunteer ministry in Southbridge, Fall River, Tiverton, New Bedford, Newport, Portsmouth, Central Mexico, and disaster relief in hurricane Andrew in 1992. They helped build Kingdom Hall educational centers all over New England, one in Venezuela and one in Ghana. He also conducted nondenominational Group Bible studies in area nursing homes. John loved people and always taught that to be happy and successful you had to follow the advice in the Bible at Psalm 1:1-3. There will be an international zoom memorial service in future.
