Obituary For Jose A. Ferreira

Jose A. Ferreira, age 55, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at RI Hospital.

Born in Ribeira Granda, St. Michaels, Azores he was the son of Aguida (Couto) Ferreira and the late Antonio Ferreira.

He worked as a machine operator, He lived in Warren for the past 12 years previously living in New Bedford. He was a member of the Warren Soccer Club.

Father of Marlene, Stephanie and Melissa Ferreira of New Bedford.

Brother of Carlos Ferreira of St. Michael, Azores and John Ferreira of Warren. He also had 2 grandchildren.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren where family will receive friends Friday, September 11, 2015 5-8pm. Funeral Saturday at 8 am from the funeral home and 9:00 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church 500 Metacom Ave.Warren. Interment in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Warren. www.wjsmithfh.com
