Obituary For Joseph Lou Marchand
Joseph Lou Marchand, 60, of Warren, died Friday, January 25, 2013, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice, Providence. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada he was a son of Theresa (Landry) Marchand and the late Wilfred Marchand. He was employed by Carol Cable and Dixon, he was a member of St Jean Baptiste Mission Church. He was a co-owner of Amigos Restaurant. He was avid softball player known as Sweet Lou for Moes Tap for over 15 years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and time with his children at the casino. Loving father of Jason Marchand and Sherry Callahan both of Warren. Daughter-in-law Laurie Marchand of Warwick and son-in-law Sean Callahan of Warren. Grandfather of Kaylee and Ayden Callahan. Brother of Lisa Rene, Thomas W. Marchand, William J. Marchand and James R. Marchand all of Warren. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where family will receive friends Tuesday, January 29 from 4-8pm. Funeral Wednesday, January 30, 10 with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Jean Baptiste Mission Church, Main St., Warren. Burial in St Jean Baptiste Cemetery. www.wjsmithfh.com

So saddened to hear of Louieâ??s passing, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. So many happy memoires come to mind of the wonderful summers our families spent together when we were kids. Mrs Marchand, Tommy, Lisa, Billy and Jimmy and Lou's Children We are so sorry to hear and miss Louie's passing and his services. Our thoughts and prays go out to all you and the rest of his family. I can still remember our younger and older days playing football and softball at Jamiels Park. The get togethers at Moe's Tap and food at Amigo's. He will be truely missed. Again so sorry. Heard about your father's passing Sherry & Jason. So sorry for your loss. We always liked your father,he was a good person. Junior had lots of fun times with him while in CB, he sure missd him when he left.Keep his memory alive by rememberg all the great memories. May he rest in peace. Love the Samson family.

wow a whole year has passed already, thinking about you all sending Love and hugs to you I often look at the pictures of Louie that I have and smile and tear up at the same time.
