Obituary For Joseph Paul Drolet
Joseph Drolet Sr, 71, of Libby Lane, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at home in Warren. Born in Central Falls a son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Gaffney) Drolet. He was the beloved husband of Martha A (Martel) Drolet. He was employed by Dyer-Anchorage Boat Builders as a laborer. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and a member of St Jean Baptiste Mission. He enjoyed music & played the Bass Guitar. . Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Denise Marie Cabral of East Providence, Susan Salvatore of Warren, Joseph Drolet Jr. of Bristol, Gary Drolet of Tiverton and Mary Brodeur of West Warwick.Grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of the late Autumn and Caleb Rene. He was the brother of Eva Annis of Central Falls and the late Roger A. Drolet. Arrangements with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where the family will receive friends 8:15-9:15am, Tuesday June 14th Funeral Tuesday June 14th, 9:15am from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St Thomas the Apostle Church, Metacom Avenue, Warren. Interment will be at St Jean-Baptiste Cemetery, Warren. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Thomas the Apostle Church, Metacom Avenue, Warren, RI 02885 and Hospice Visiting Nurse Services of Newport & Bristol Counties, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
