Obituary For Joseph R. Simone Jr.

Joseph R. Simone Jr., 42, of Warren, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. The son of Joseph Sr. and Pauline (Pearson) Simone and the beloved husband of Bethany (Silva) Simone, Joseph grew up in North Providence before settling in Warren.

Joseph was first and foremost a family man. He loved to spend time with his family and was the happiest around them, especially his children. He was an amazing son, husband and father. Joseph had a personality that drew people in and he was well liked by everyone who got to meet him. In his spare time, Joseph enjoyed reading, fishing, and travelling with his family to the Caribbean. He was an avid fan of horror movies and novels and a huge Wu-Tang Clan fan.

In addition to his loving parents, Joseph and Pauline and his beloved wife, Bethany, Joseph is survived by his son, Rocco Simone and his daughters, Aria Simone and Ava Simone.

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI, 02885, where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 3-6PM. A Prayer Service will be held at 6PM.

    Words can't fully capture how deeply sorry I am for the Simone family. What a tremendous loss. Joe meant so much to so many people, but I knew him best from high school through our early twenties. Whenever I share stories from those times, they always come with belly laughs and are often met with another equally great memory. I wish I could ease even a small part of the pain his wife and children are feeling. Gone too soon, and missed dearly.
