Obituary For Joshua-Ian Joseph Olson

Joshua- Ian J. Olson, 13, of Warren died Saturday Oct. 18, 2014,in Johnston.

He was born in Attleboro, MA., a son of Jason Olson of Johnston, and Jessica Silva of Warren.

Joshua, has been a Warren resident for over 8 years coming from Rehoboth MA

Joshua Ian was an Eighth Grade Student, at the Kickemuit Middle School, in Warren . He was a member of the Seekonk Congregational Church, and he previously attended the Hugh Cole School.

Josh enjoyed riding his bike, and playing outdoors, hiking, camping. He enjoyed reading, drawing, playing video games, and building things.

Josh also enjoyed spending time with his sister Janel, and all of his friends.

Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Janel Olson of Warren.

He also is survived by a very large extended family.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday November 8, 2014 at 10:00am in the Seekonk Congregational Church, 600 Fall River Avenue Seekonk MA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Visiting hours are Friday November 7, 2014 from 4-7pm in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI .

    Jessica, Jay and Janel, Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Joshua was a great kid and I felt he was going to be an excellent leader of our Junior Grange. He will be sorely missed by our Juniors and our Leaders. Joshua and those who loved him will be in my prayers.
