Joyce Sampson, 72, formerly of Cutler St., Warren, died Thursday, March 30, 2006 in Bristol.

She was the wife of the late Richard A. Sampson.

Born in East Providence, a daughter of the late Merrill and Gladys (Hoar) Pickett.

Mrs Sampson had been the proprietor with her late husband of the Mallory Manor on Cutler Street in Warren for 20 years. She was also the founder of the East Bay Senior Choir.

Beloved mother of Richard R. Sampson of Charlestown, Lee, Lee Ann Sampson of Warren, Allan P., Clifford B. and Pamela G. Sampson all of Bristol. She leaves five grandchildren. She was also the dear friend of Frank Perry of Warren.

Interment will be private.
